Hi, I'm Matteo.

I’m an AI engineer based between Munich and Aosta, currently a Senior AI Engineer at Checkmk, where I lead AI enablement across R&D, shipped the company’s first AI-aided development pipeline, and am rolling out its first AI-powered product feature. Before that, I led AI at Tinexta Group, where I built LextelAI — now Italy’s leading AI assistant for lawyers and legal professionals.

In parallel, I co-founded DatAIMed, an agent-driven platform for evidence-based medicine. We orchestrate autonomous-agent pipelines over a multi-collection MongoDB vector database indexing more than 150 million scientific papers, so clinicians get bias-checked, real-time insights.

Earlier, I was the first data scientist at Greenomy, where I built the firm’s first deep-NLP system and led Artemis, their AI sustainability advisor. Before that: audit analytics at Generali, data engineering at Flowe, and a master’s thesis at SmartData@PoliTO on popularity forecasting across 2M+ Instagram posts.

I also sit on GlobalAI, a Swiss non-profit that represents AI stakeholders before the United Nations and other international bodies — pushing for responsible, sustainable, and ethical AI.

When I’m not behind a keyboard, I’m on a trail somewhere in the Alps 🏔, or at a café in Aosta. ☕
